Get Mantena Desk on your phone

Install the desk like an app and get an alert the moment a trip is updated. It takes about two minutes, with no App Store needed.

1Install the app

  1. Open mantena.dnbtravels.com in Safari. Other iPhone browsers can't install apps with notifications.
  2. Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (top right on iPad).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Make sure Open as Web App is on, if shown, then tap Add.
  4. Close Safari and open Mantena Desk from the new icon on your Home Screen.
  5. Sign in again inside the app. The installed app keeps its own login, separate from Safari.
  6. Come back to this page (menu → Phone app) and turn on notifications in step 2.

2Turn on notifications

Sign in (inside the installed app on a phone), then open this page again from the menu: Phone app.

What you'll be notified about

  • Your request was received
  • The DNB desk starts working on it
  • The desk needs more information from you
  • The trip is ticketed, with the PNR
  • A message from the desk, or a cancellation

Emails keep coming as before. Tapping a notification opens that trip.

Troubleshooting

No "Add to Home Screen" option on iPhone
You're probably in Chrome or another app's browser. Open the link in Safari. iOS 16.4 or newer is required (Settings → General → About).
"Turn on notifications" doesn't appear on iPhone
It only works inside the installed app. Open Mantena Desk from the Home Screen icon, not from Safari.
I tapped "Don't Allow" by mistake
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Mantena Desk → Allow Notifications. Android: long-press the app icon → App info → Notifications → Allow. Computer: click the lock icon in the address bar → Notifications → Allow. Then reload this page.
The test arrived but trip alerts don't
Check Focus / Do Not Disturb, and on Android make sure battery saver isn't restricting Chrome. Signing out and in with a different account on the same phone moves alerts to that account.
New phone or reinstalled the app
Repeat both steps on the new device. Old devices stop receiving alerts automatically.
